Hi, I'm Louise, the Mouse Maker. I am a loving Grandmother with a very creative imagination who loves knitting mice. It is relaxing and fun making up stories about the little mice I create. I make cute knitted mice, all sorts from the devil to Christmas tree angel substitutes, mice with protesting placards to mice with butterfly wings, to protect them if there is a flood (they have heard about global warming). I really enjoy coming up with new ideas and enjoy living with the results.
Hi, I'm Ange, from SilverCircus clothing. SilverCircus Clothing started 12 years ago with me making clothes for my daughter and friends at playcentre, and is now my full-time job. I design, draft patterns, screenprint and sew mainly childrenswear. Other interests of mine include being part of the 'core crew' at the Petone Depot, a not-for-profit, volunteer-run, community-owned and funded venue, that started 4 years ago as a multi-use space for community-enriching groups, workshops, gigs, exhibitions, popups (including a weekly Tue/Wed SilverCircus pop-up shop), events, and activities to happen (and soon more foodie ones too! I'm part of a team building the Peoples Kitchen Petone - a community access commercial kitchen). Currently I host the monthly CreateSpace, and Sewing Warmth project workshops and cook and DJ the regular Petone Open Mics. As well as collecting fabric, I collect vinyl records and sometimes take them for a spin as DJ Danger. I play around Wellington and have a regular 'Sunday Soul Session' at the Sprig and Fern, Jackson St, Petone. SilverCircus clothing specialises in Natural fibres, cotton, organic cottons, merino, wools, bamboo, linen and retro and vintage fabrics. I'm also a core member of the Boomerang Bags Petone branch - come and sew your own bags at our stall-side workshop!

Hi, I'm Elle and I am the driving force behind Doodlebum! I've been a doodler all my life. My parents and friends used to call me Doodlebum and the nickname stuck like permanent marker. I was studying Visual Communication Design at Massey University in Wellington, but after the rather unexpected arrival of my daughter in 2010 I put my studies on hold. Instead, I decided to pursue my main skill and hobby: drawing. I originally started my Facebook page to share my artwork and crafts with friends and family. Now I am a proud NZ small business owner, creating all of my own coloring books, candles and melts, jewellery and artwork for the great demand of the general public. It's been a long tough road and it will continue to be tough for a while, with a heck of a lot of hard work, sweat and tears. But it will be worth it! And it is thanks to my wonderful friends, family and customers who support me and make my dream possible! ♥ ♥ ♥ Doodlebum productsUnique Colouring Books: These books contain my own drawings, doodles and imaginings, spanning through a range of styles from cute and fun animals, to intricate detailed mandalas. Soy Wax Melts & Candles: Each of these cuties smells absolutely divine and with over 50 fragrances to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice! Handpainted Jewellery: My jewellery range includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, sets, earrings, brooches and hair clips. I am also able to create custom sets and pieces, eg. for weddings, birthday presents, etc. A new addition to the range are my fridge magnets and key rings. Links
