GREETINGS, PIXIE ROSE FROM The Wonky Pixie NZ!I, Pixie, am a forest to sea dweller. A nature artist. I find inspiration within nature, and believe in the light floating between the branches of the trees, or the curve of a seashell, or the dewdrop on a flower's petal. I find whimsy and fantastical story within my creations, through sculpture, resin art to image making of florals or those teeny tiny moss covered pine needles on the forest floor, with the faery rings of mushrooms. I try to evoke a mystical journey with my works. Suitable for all ages, and goblins. Or faery. Or mermaids. You just never know what you might find among the path of artworks. No magical creature/s were harmed in the making - in fact, they helped! I handcraft and handsculpt resin and nature art with real flowers, herbs, shells or crystals. I handsculpt faery/mermaid/goblin dwellings and minatures with paper mache and clay. I photograph florals, earthen scenes or macro nature. And I make vintage inspired or resin jewellery and trinkets where at times I source vintage items to tell a new story of their journey. I create from vintage papers, books, teacups and even bottles. Whimsy for all ages.

I discovered needle-felting in a UK craft magazine about 3 years ago and have been needle-felting ever since. A special barbed needle enables you to felt and sculpt the wool. I mostly make little felt animals and creatures such as cats, bunnies and little alien monsters! I make them by needle-felting NZ wool which allows me to sculpt wool into a 3D shape. Although needle-felting can be time-consuming - it is very absorbing and you can be quite creative.
Meet Meg from dora papersKia ora, I'm Meg, you may have seen me at markets, where I sell my paper works as Dora Papers. I've been manipulating paper in various ways for years now, and the endless possibilities of paper still fascinate and surprise me. I work from my home/studio in Eastbourne, surrounded by trees and piles of paper. I love working with paper, and also the native birds and bush of Aotearoa NZ. You'll see both of those things reflected in my work. I sell marbled paper jewellery, decorations, stationary and craft supplies. Everything is designed and made by me, and usually involves a combination of marbling, quilling and papier-mâché.

Hi, I'm Elle and I am the driving force behind Doodlebum! I've been a doodler all my life. My parents and friends used to call me Doodlebum and the nickname stuck like permanent marker. I was studying Visual Communication Design at Massey University in Wellington, but after the rather unexpected arrival of my daughter in 2010 I put my studies on hold. Instead, I decided to pursue my main skill and hobby: drawing. I originally started my Facebook page to share my artwork and crafts with friends and family. Now I am a proud NZ small business owner, creating all of my own coloring books, candles and melts, jewellery and artwork for the great demand of the general public. It's been a long tough road and it will continue to be tough for a while, with a heck of a lot of hard work, sweat and tears. But it will be worth it! And it is thanks to my wonderful friends, family and customers who support me and make my dream possible! ♥ ♥ ♥ Doodlebum productsUnique Colouring Books: These books contain my own drawings, doodles and imaginings, spanning through a range of styles from cute and fun animals, to intricate detailed mandalas. Soy Wax Melts & Candles: Each of these cuties smells absolutely divine and with over 50 fragrances to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice! Handpainted Jewellery: My jewellery range includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, sets, earrings, brooches and hair clips. I am also able to create custom sets and pieces, eg. for weddings, birthday presents, etc. A new addition to the range are my fridge magnets and key rings. Links
