Meet Liz from red glove style
I am Liz O'Brien and I have been an amateur artist for more than 20 years. I am now selling more of my work and I have moved into up-cycling items that interest me. I have recently completed Project Remade where I produced 50 items in 100 days as a challenge to myself. A number of these items have sold which gives me the challenge of continuing to offer original art and up-cycled items to people who are interested.
I am an artist, up-cycler and artisan. I produce original artwork on canvas and paper, and I source items from landfill and op-shops to remake. These items include small pieces of furniture and discarded bowls and boxes. I also make small quilts for small children and other fabric items such as bags. My ethic in remaking is to reuse, creatively, discarded items rather than lose their history and functions.
HANDMADE JEWELLERY BY Aggie + Au
I am Jenny, the designer and maker behind Aggie + Au. My passion is to create jewellery you'll treasure and wear every day. Jewellery can help us tell our unique stories and connect us with a time, place, person or feeling. I create each piece of jewellery by hand in my small Lower Hutt studio and am honoured that the pieces I craft become part of the stories of so many unique women.
I make handcrafted jewellery in sterling silver and 9ct gold. My pieces have a clean contemporary look and are designed for effortless beauty everyday!
Hi, I am a fibre artist and mother of two young boys. I'm just starting out with my creations and WROUGHT December will be my first foray into the world of markets.
I create contemporary sculptural basketry.

My homemade chutneys, relishes, and marmalades are the ideal stocking stuffer this Christmas.
I produce more than 25 varieties of preserves, from Tomato Relish to Apricot, Date and Walnut Chutney and Whiskey and Almond Marmalade.
My fresh lemon curd is a great treat for Christmas Day.
Meet Alison from Little Green Tree Frog!
I started sewing and knitting as a child and now make soft toys, clothing and treasures for babies, kids and grown-ups. These include baby safe soft toys, teddy bears, blankets, quilted cushions and whatever else takes my fancy!
I like to make colourful and cuddly things that make kids happy.
The baby-safe toys are all hand-embroidered and have no dangerous bits. Teddy bears are completely hand-sewn.
I also make quilted cushions which can be personalised to use fabrics that are meaningful to people.
INTRODUCING HELEN FROM Helen Bland Art
I paint original art with Acrylic paint onto stretched canvas. I love to use bright, vibrant colours and draw my inspiration from the beauty of nature and NZ landscapes.
I hand paint quality original art onto stretched canvas and have recently started to create some ready to frame prints and gift cards of my artwork. Commissions are also welcome! Thank you!
MEET KATHY FROM Creations by Katrose
I have always been the creative type of person and I enjoy exploring with different mediums.
In 2011 I was diagnosed with an aggressive metastatic cancer and told my chances were slim. I obviously survived this and am now in remission and as such I decided I no longer wanted to be stressed in a job I didn’t enjoy anymore. I realised life is really too short to put my dreams on hold. I quit my job and the financial security that came with it and took a big risk to study art in 2015 part time. I had hoped I would gain employment on the days off, so if you are looking for a creative person part time, let me know!
However for now, I am still a broke student without an income and any spare time I do have, I am exploring, experimenting and creating.
I enjoy exploring with different mediums such as textiles, painting, drawing, sculpture, and jewellery. I discovered I have a love/hate relationship with 2D and have found a challenge and passion in 3D. I also have an Accreditation as a Paverpol Instructor and now hold regular sculpting workshops.
At Wrought, I would like to introduce people to the wonderfully diverse array of art that can be made with Paverpol, offer sculptures for sale and to promote workshops for 2018. I will also bring along some of my unique jewellery pieces for sale.
Paverpol is a liquid polymer, textile hardener. It is weatherproof so the sculptures can go both indoors and out. Paverpol is versatile, highly durable, safe and non toxic. The use of Paverpol in your art and craft is only limited by your imagination. Caution – using Paverpol can be highly addictive!
Kia ora, Hayley from Gifts and Living spaces
Gifts & living spaces was started as a hobby, creating terrariums at home, to selling them in a florist in the Wellington CBD. It progressed to Hayley and Stuart opening their own online gift shop from home. With over 10 years experience in retail & knowledge of flowers and plants after working in the florist industry for over 10 years & growing up on a flower farm in the lower North Island, you can trust we know our stuff when it comes to plants & horticulture. Terrariums make a perfect birthday or Christmas present for that special someone, and not only do we create unique terrariums & potted plants, we have a range of gift baskets on our online store for same day delivery across Wellington.
Gifts & living spaces team has the experience and know-how to supply you with a beautiful living gift that could last you a lifetime!
I've always enjoyed creating terrariums & baskets it started as a hobby to do on quiet days in my family florist shop & developed into so much more! Making terrariums gave me a way to bring nature indoors. I love making custom terrariums, I made a Hobbit terrarium for a man last Christmas that worked at Weta, Slightly nerve-racking but he loved it & it gave me so many ideas.
I love hearing when people get my gifts delivered. Seeing photos of my terrariums on social media sitting on someones dinning room table is always rewarding! growing my own plants & seeing something grow from a tiny seedling to a blooming flower & then going out for delivery to my customers is something special :)
I love that people love what I do as much as me!!
